TEAC TN-570 vinyl turntable overview and description

The top player TEAC TN-570 has an elegant design, high performance and is equipped with everything necessary for digitizing vinyl records.
The flagship chassis consists of two layers: high-density MDF and artificial marble. Such a “sandwich” from different materials allows to solve the problems associated with parasitic resonances, and to provide a sufficiently large weight of 9 kg. A thin mesh with a honeycomb structure covering the bottom of the case also helps to minimize resonant vibrations, while adjustable aluminum legs with rubber shock absorbers provide vibration suppression.
The electric motor has a shock-absorbing “pillow” and spins a clear acrylic supporting disc with a thickness of 16 mm using a flat urethane belt. To stabilize the rotational speed, the PRS3 servo system is used, which uses an optical sensor installed at the spindle base, transmitting data on any speed changes to the onboard microprocessor, which finely tunes the operation of the electric motor. Such a design in terms of tuning accuracy can even compete with direct drive turntables. To select a standard of 33.3 or 45 rpm is an electronic aluminum switch.
In the TEAC TN-570 involved arm with a S-shaped tube, removable shell and anti-skating system. The tonearm is easily adjustable in height, and in its wiring PC-Triple C single-crystal copper conductors are used, which contributes to high-quality signal transmission with a minimum of losses. The model is completed with an MM cartridge Audio-Technica AT100E.
The flagship is equipped with a switchable MM phono stage based on OPA1602 SoundPlus operational amplifiers, providing high-quality sound. The Cirrus Logic onboard ADC allows you to convert an analog signal to Hi-Res audio (24-bit/192 kHz) and output it via an optical output to an external DAC. USB output signal with a resolution of 16 bit/48 kHz, which can be saved on a computer hard disk as a file. The player’s rear panel also has a sampling rate selector for the optical output (192/96/48 kHz), RCA output, Toslink output, USB port, power/standby button, and a slot for the network adapter.
The kit includes an adapter for EP albums and a removable dust cover. As an option, a mat made of Japanese Washi paper is available, which has antistatic properties and minimizes vibrations.
The flagship of TEAC TN-570 provides an effective symbiosis of analog and modern digital technologies, and also demonstrates high quality sound.
