Overview and description of vinyl player ELAC Miracord 70

ELAC continues to revive its vinyl line with the release of the new ELAC Miracord 70, which currently has an average step in the company's series. The new turntable looks stylish and elegant due to the spectacular design with the use of aluminum and black gloss.
Excellent damping table player is made of MDF, finished in black glossy varnish and girded with a specially crafted silvery aluminum plate with a logo attached to it. The model is equipped with a powerful synchronous electric motor, manufactured by Premotec. According to ELAC, the motor has a decoupling from the turntable body and provides virtually noiseless operation. With the help of a flat rubber belt, the torque of the electric motor is transferred to the metal sub-disk. The support disk, made of sodium-calcium-silicate glass, weighs more than 2.5 kg, and its lower surface is covered with black ceramics, which contributes to the creation of a visual three-dimensional effect. A mat is placed on top of it, on which a vinyl disk is mounted. The main bearing with a ceramic ball is similar in design to the bearing system of the older Miracord 90 turntable. As a result, smooth and smooth rotation is ensured, and immunity to external influences is also maintained, in other words, such a turntable is less susceptible to all kinds of vibrations and resonances.
Model ELAC Miracord 70 has an aluminum tonearm equipped with a counterweight with a scale for adjusting the clamping force of the cartridge needle and an anti-skating system designed to compensate for the rolling force. In the tonearm the pickup head with a movable magnet is fixed (factory preset) - a sound MM cartridge Audio-Technica AT95, which is equipped with a double magnetic system and a needle with an elliptical profile mounted on a tubular aluminum console. Thanks to this cartridge, a live natural sound is guaranteed.
The ELAC Miracord 70 player received a transparent cover that protects it from dust and fastens with loops. On the back panel of the case are made two gold-plated RCA-connectors for connection to the phono stage and a ground terminal.
