Speakers Cerwin-Vega SL-28 is the top line SL and the total area of bazovica it superior to other models in the series. Although they do not exceed the level of the bass model with a 300-mm long tail, however, is able to provide the same high sound pressure. But when the housing Cerwin-Vega SL-28 was able to do much more slender, as they have a pair of 200-mm low-frequency radiators instead of one large diameter dynamics. The narrower front panel provides a lower level of diffraction of the sound waves and, consequently, provides a more focused and natural, spacious audio image. In addition, the dynamics of smaller speakers provide faster and more detailed bass, which is especially important when listening to modern electronic music. Of course, the bass speakers of this tandem undergo a rigorous pre-selection of identity parameters, to avoid distortion.

As with all speakers Cerwin-Vega, diffusers of bazovica SL-28 attached to a wide elastic suspensions of red and decorated with large white logo of the company. Tweeter with soft dome 25 mm in diameter, red in color, hidden behind a special three-beam overlay. It aligns its radiation pattern and serves as protection against mechanical damages when removing the safety net.

Speaker comes with a bass reflex design, the outlet of which is displayed on the back cover. Enclosure Cerwin-Vega SL-28 is made of MDF, has internal ties and deep cushioning for minimising vibrations of the walls at high input power. Regarding the latter, the calculated column to summarize up to 300 W, which, given their sensitivity at 89 dB, allows to obtain very high sound pressure. To protect speakers from overload, they are equipped with a thermal fuse, which is located directly on the block input connectors for convenient replacement if necessary.

Column, SL-28 have an extended frequency range (from 32 Hz) and are ideal for equipping home theaters in large rooms.
