Overview and description of the AV-receiver Onkyo TX-SR373

The Onkyo TX-SR373 AV receiver is the successor to the SR-343 and is still the most affordable in its lineup. In addition to the updated design, which made the device more attractive externally, Onkyo TX-SR373 slightly changed the set of connectors - in particular, on its front panel appeared USB-port for connecting portable drives with music files.
Despite the quite democratic value, Onkyo TX-SR373 is great for creating a modern home theater in a small room of an average city apartment. The device is easy to set up and use and will provide high-quality sound in computer games, when watching movies or listening to music.
The AV receiver has four HDMI inputs and one output, with the ability to transmit 4K UHD signal. In this model, it was decided to abandon the component video inputs and outputs, which simplified the placement of connectors on the rear panel. Also, the device has three analog and two digital inputs. For connection of the front stoacoustics screw terminals are intended, while for the central and rear speakers spring terminals are used. This is a perfectly acceptable solution in AV-receivers of this price category.
At the same time, Onkyo TX-SR373 is equipped with the system of automatic calibration of ambient sound AccuEQ Room Calibration, which previously did not occur in models of this cost. The device is equipped with HD-format decoders of ambient sound and high-quality modern DAC from the company Burr Brown. There is a flexible crossover tuning for the subwoofer, tone controls for low and high frequencies, and Bluetooth for connecting mobile devices. To control the Onkyo TX-SR373, you can use the informative display on the front panel or convenient on-screen graphics.
Power amplifiers in the AV-receiver are made on discrete components by proprietary technology WRAT and are able to cope even with complex acoustic systems. The device has a completely universal nature of sound for listening to music of various genres, and when watching movies it can accurately transmit the most energetic special effects.
