Overview and description of the AV-receiver Onkyo TX-L20D

The two-channel receiver with streamer functions Onkyo TX-L20D is made in a strict slim-design, comparable with the form factor of some Blu-ray players.
The model supports wireless audio transmission with Google Cast service (available with new software), AirPlay function, Bluetooth module and Wi-Fi connection. There is built-in support for streaming online services TIDAL, Deezer, Spotify and TuneIn. The stereo receiver is easily connected to the LAN using the LAN interface or via the WLAN, while Hi-Res formats are playable, including DSD up to 5.6 MHz. Supported by the technology of FireConnect, making it possible to send any audio signal wirelessly to the supporting this function of the AU, which is very convenient for multi-installation. The receiver can be controlled via the Onkyo Controller application from iOS or Android devices. To listen to the radio there is an FM-receiver and a digital tuner DAB/DAB +. The device is equipped with an amplifier power of 85 watts per channel (4 ohms) and uses the technology of Phase Matching Bass for the phase-matching reproduction of low frequencies.
The central part of the front panel is a single-line FL-display. The volume knob and two buttons for searching/tuning radio programs are on the right side of the panel. On the left there is a power/standby button, a USB port for external drives (supports Hi-Res, including DSD 5.6 MHz), a mini headphone jack, and a source selector button.
Onkyo TX-L20D has a 32-bit CIRRUS signal processor. There are separate DSP modes for movies, games and music. Pure Audio mode is supported for high-quality audio playback.
The model is equipped with four latest-generation HDMI inputs that work with 4K resolution, are "friends" with the 4K-content HDCP 2.2 protocol, support 4: 4: 4 color space, HDR and CEC control protocol. The output is a similar port with the function of a return audio channel. The receiver can scale video in 1080p to 4K format. With HDMI, playback of SACD format (up to 5.6 MHz) is also supported. There are two linear RCA inputs, MM phono stages and digital inputs (coaxial and optical). There is a subwoofer output and a pair of screw terminals for speakers.
The Onkyo TX-L20D is equipped with a remote control and is a convenient modern device for listening to movie soundtracks and quality audio playback using a wired or wireless signal transmission method.
