Overview and description of the AV-receiver Denon AVR-X1400H

7.2-channel receiver Denon AVR-X1400W is equipped with a powerful modern DSP-processor Cirrus Logic, capable of performing more than a billion operations per second. The model easily copes with the scoring of medium-sized rooms and can work even with low-impedance speakers due to the presence on board of powerful amplifiers, each of which produces 145 watts at 6 ohms. This uses the eco-mode Auto Eco, which regulates the maximum power consumption depending on the volume level.
The receiver is friendly with modern 3D sound formats - DTS: X and Dolby Atmos in 5.1.2-channel configuration. For autocalibration, the speaker uses a time-tested Audyssey MultEQ XT32, and fine tuning of settings can be performed using the paid application Audyssey MultEQ Editor App.
On board there is Bluetooth, AirPlay and dual-band Wi-Fi, providing reliable wireless communications. By WLAN and LAN, you can connect to a local network and play Hi-Res audio (including DSD up to 5.6 MHz), stored on computers and servers. High-definition audio playback is also available via USB.
The Denon AVR-X1400W is able to work with HEOS technology, on the basis of which it is possible to create a wireless multiroom installation consisting of components with HEOS support, among which you can identify specialized wireless speakers. In this case, a special application allows you to control the receiver, assign playback of specific content for various groups of HEOS-devices, play different music tracks in different rooms or synchronously broadcast music in all rooms simultaneously. At the same time, access to online services such as Spotify Connect, Tidal, Deezer, Sound Cloud, Napster, TuneIn is supported.
The model is equipped with six HDMI-inputs of the latest generation (one of them is built in the front panel) with support for 4K UHD (60 Hz) resolution, HDCP 2.2 protocol, 3D video, HDR picture, Dolby Vision (HDR version with dynamic metadata and depth color in 12 bit) and HLG-standard for HDR-TV (software update is required). There is HDMI-output with support for the return channel. Among other switching, you can pay attention to optical digital inputs and two outputs for subwoofers. For the convenience of connecting the speakers, each of the seven pairs of screw terminals has its own color marking.
