Description stereo amplifier, Plinius Inspire 880

High-end integrated amplifier Plinius Inspire 880 has an uncompromising design and are equipped with sophisticated set of features. The device is made in the metal casing of small height, and its front panel has a minimal set of controls. A number of miniature LEDs show the operation mode of the amplifier, and the input selected. Rounded front corners give Plinius Inspire 880 recognizable appearance, and its exterior finish can be black or silver. The amplifier is easy to use, but can become the centre of very serious audio setup, which uses a variety of sources.

The back panel contains a small amount of connectors, but the variety of connections Plinius Inspire 880 is in no way inferior to the best models in this class. Here is the entrance for MM-cartridges providing amplification of 50 dB, and with parameters comparable to a separate Phono stages of the highest class. There is also amplifier possible to connect three linear source – one balanced XLR and two unbalanced via RCA-inputs. An important feature of this model is a built-in digital-to-analog Converter with two optical and USB inputs. The USB interface works in asynchronous mode and is capable of receiving a digital stream, with parameters up to 24 bit / 192 kHz. The amplifier comes with a small remote control, which also has buttons to switch tracks on the CD player-Plinius.

Amplifier Plinius Inspire 880 develops a power output of 2 x 80 watts when you connect an 8 Ohm load, with energy-intensive power source, and vysokotelym output stages. To protect the device against overload is provided by fast-acting fuses. The device is able to confidently cope with speakers with a fairly complex characteristic impedance and sound medium in size.
