Reference integrated amplifier A-9000R aims to refresh the interest of lovers of quality sound to an upgraded Hi-Fi products Onkyo.

Onkyo A-9000R has a classic design, as evidenced by a solid housing with high anti-vibration chassis components – separated from each other by aluminium panels top, front and sides. Rarely used controls (controls for balance, tone, power switch, switch between pairs of loudspeakers, the button “Set Up” and headphone Jack) are hidden under the front flap opening. Large volume knob is in the center of the front wall, on the right is the switch for “Pure Direct”, a small turning off the display with two brightness modes and the input selector. On the left is the button “On/Standby.” Included is the remote control.

Onkyo A-9000R has three analogue audio inputs and one audio output, input “Main In” and the output of the preamp “Pre Out”. Digital inputs: one balanced AES/EBU (manufacturer – Amphenol), one optical, two coaxial. There is a USB port that allows you to play HD music files from your computer (in the format of 24 bit/192 kHz) via an asynchronous data transmission, the RI and socket connectors for LP-player (cartridges MM/MC). On the back wall there are four pairs of terminals for the speakers.

Technical features include a parallel push-pull amplification consisting of three cascades, where we use an inverted Darlington transistors. The device has a built-in Wolfson DACs (WM8742 chip, 24 bit/192 kHz), one for each channel. Applied advanced broadband amplification AWRAT (as in the outlet Onkyo M-5000R) and involved the modules of the system DIDRC, which suppress intermodulation distortion. A circuit Board attached to the hull A-900R with a special internal bracing that reduces vibration. Digital and analogue circuitry are completely separate. Left and right channels have a symmetrical layout. Developers used to design a shallow negative feedback, which improved the sound quality.

Onkyo A-9000R is equipped with a powerful power unit with a total capacity of 72000 µf capacitors and outputs 140 watts per channel (@4 Ohms). Can operate in four modes: as an integrated amplifier, "the assistant" or "preda" and when the cascade preamp and gain stages are used separately.
