Description stereo amplifier, Cambridge Audio Azur 851A

Integrated stereo amplifier Cambridge Audio Azur 851A collected on the basis of a proprietary Class XD technology, which provides unmatched audio fidelity, and good compatibility with various models of AC. This technology allows you to virtually eliminate distortion of the audio signal type "step", and significantly improve sound quality at low listening volume.

The Azur 851A develops 120 watts of output power, and the power supply unit is equipped with two toroidal mains transformer. One of them built the source for the circuits pre-amp signal and the other provides energy to the output stages. To power the stereo uses a separate winding of the transformer, and thus, in the scheme we were able to implement the concept of "dual mono". To adjust the volume in this model uses a custom potentiometer balanced design to ensure high accuracy and smooth changes of sound levels in 1 dB increments, with a minimum of noise and distortion.

Amplifier Cambridge Audio Azur 851A is equipped with unbalanced and balanced input connectors, and thus is the ideal partner for the CD player company that has XLR outputs. There are seven line inputs, input/output for connecting a recording device, and adjustable output with a preamp. Amplifier equipped with high-quality screw terminals for connecting two pairs of speakers.

On the front panel of the device there is an informative display with the original display set the sound volume, as well as output to connect stereo headphones. The amplifier is assembled on anti-vibration chassis with reinforced design, the output transistors placed on the massive heat sink milled, placed horizontally under the top cover. This results in uniform removal of heat due to natural air convection, and does not require additional mechanical ventilation. Cambridge Audio Azur 851A is equipped with a universal remote control from which you can also control iPod/iPhone mounted in the original Doc iD100.
