Description stereo amplifier, Atoll IN 50SE

Full amplifier Atoll IN 50SE is the next step after his older brother IN 80SE in the line of the French company Atoll Electronique.

The model has a metal body with an aluminium façade. The developers managed to combine a minimalist design concept with a pleasant appearance. In the left part of the front panel is the company logo, visually balancing the loaded controls the right side. A Central volume knob, which is attached to the potentiometer Alps RK-27. Right mounted mini-Jack for headphones, a power button with a corresponding indicator, and the input selector which consists of two vertically arranged keys. To switch between sources using the relay and about what inputs you're currently in, show a semicircle placed LEDs.

Amplifier Atoll IN 50SE received a classical circuitry, without any additional contours, for example, adjustment circuit tone, which contributes to short the signal path. Element base consists of specially selected components, which includes also audiophile-grade polypropylene capacitors MKP. The output section contains MOSFET transistors. The model produces 50 W at a load of 8 Ohms and 70W at 4 Ohms. Food provides made in the left part of the housing a toroidal transformer. The total capacity of the PSU capacitors 15,000 UF.

Inputs: five RCA (including connectors monitoring record) and BY-PASS, allowing signal directly to the cascade amplifier. Outputs: RCA for recording, two pairs of connectors of the preamplifier. Optional in 50SE you can embed the cost of the Phono stage. This will involve one of the line inputs. To install the following available modules – P50 (for MM cartridges) or P100 (for MM/MC cartridges). To connect acoustics use two pairs of screw terminals.

Atoll IN 50SE has excellent musical talents. The bass is quite articulate, the midrange well defined and the high frequencies are open and clean. The model is able to construct the correct three-dimensional scene. Perfect for work paired with a 50SE will be IN the corresponding class bookshelf loudspeaker. For more fundamental low-frequency amplifier can be associated with a small napolniteli.
