Description of Atoll IN 100SE stereo amplifier

Model Atoll IN 100SE refers to the initial component level of High-End and its characteristics second only to the flagship in a full line of amplifiers company Atoll Electronique. The unit received a recommendation from Stereophile magazine.

The amplifier design is quite distinctive. Aluminum front thickness of half a centimeter accommodates a large handle of motorized volume control, includes potentiometer ALPS. To the right is a mini-Jack for headphones, a power button with indicator and two vertically arranged buttons allowing you to select one of the required inputs. Switching is provided by relays, and the execution of six semi-circle of green LEDs.

Atoll IN 100SE different from their younger brothers increased power handling – 100 watts per channel (at 8 Ohms). The channels are fed from two massive toroidal transformers with a power of 330 W each, located in the left side of the hull. The total capacitance of 30,000 UF PSU equal. In circuits used polypropylene capacitors MKP. The preamplifier circuits include bipolar transistors, and the output stage are equipped with high-current MOSFET-transistors.

There is a standard set of inputs: four RCA, an input for monitoring the recorded material, as well as RCA connectors, marked as BY-PASS, which provides direct access to the terminal section of the amplifier. A connectors for recording and two PRE-OUT. To connect acoustics there are only two pairs of screw terminals.

Can be optionally installed Board Phono stage. In the company's catalog contains the following models correctors for interior installation – P50 (for MM-heads) or P100 (for MM/MC head).

Thanks to the powerful power supply, sophisticated circuit design and high quality element base Atoll IN 100SE provides excellent resolution in the midrange, expressive and detailed high frequencies, and fast articulated bass. Built in space soundscapes with incredible realism. The model is quite dynamic, well balanced and able to affect the naturalness of voices.
