Description of Luxman stereo amplifier L507uX

Full amplifier Luxman L507uX is experiencing its fourth reincarnation. The first model L507 was released in 1996 and won a well-deserved popularity among audiophiles. The design of the device complies with the principle of "One Body Separation": in a single housing contains a preamplifier and an outlet, which are independent from each other and can be used separately.

In balanced topology amplifier schemes ("dual mono") is applied to the feedback circuit ODNF (version 3.0), allowing to minimize noise and distortion. The signal path in the chain is optimized. The power supply has a power transformer (560 VA) and four capacitor with a total capacity of 40,000 UF. Involved in high-speed rectifier Schottky diodes, and the output is set to bipolar transistors. The amplifier develops 110 watts per channel at 8 Ohms, high damping factor and wide frequency range.

Model Luxman L507uX made in a classical symmetrical design. The center of the facade occupied by two pointer indicators of level of the output signal with a backlight that can be disabled. Below them are seven LED indicators, to signal the inclusion of one or another function or mode of operation. In the lower part of the front panel there are 6 switches, for selecting the mode of operation of the equalizer under a certain type of cartridge (MM or MC), the activation record output, to disable the AU and the selection of sets of speakers (A, B, A B), and also to adjust tone and balance. In the left part of the rendered input selector, power key and button monitor recording. On the right side is the volume control LECUA proprietary technology, which is essential for fine tuning and low noise. Installed below the 6.3 mm headphone Jack, button, bypass the tonestack and button serving to separate the preamp and the assistant.

Inputs: two balanced XLR with buttons invert phase, 4 line RCA, input MM/MC-Phono stage RCA to monitor recording and RCA to connect to a terminal section (relevant when the amplifier is composed of DC and for the organization of bi-amp). Outputs: to record (RCA), PRE OUT (RCA). There are four pairs of screw terminals for speakers, a pair of sockets for peripheral devices with a total power output not exceeding 300 W and a grounding terminal. The kit comes with aluminum remote control which can control CD player Luxman.

Amplifier Luxman L507uX has a natural, timbrally rich and detailed sound. The model is made in Japan and is of high build quality.
