Description of Luxman stereo amplifier L505uX

The next version of the popular model of Luxman integrated amp, Luxman model L505uX received modified circuitry and superior electronic components. The main ideology of this device, combining in one housing and terminal independent pre-amplifier, with the possibility of separate use, has been preserved.

L505uX Luxman amplifier has a fully symmetrical design of the type "dual mono", the power supply has a transformer with separate secondary windings for different schemes. The rectifier is fabricated on a high-speed Schottky diodes and the filtering of the supply voltage used four condenser with a capacity of 10 thousand UF, which creates the necessary energy reserves to ensure a wide dynamic range of sound, and good compatibility with the acoustics of various types. The apparatus develops output power 2 x 100 watts when you connect 8-Ohm speakers, and to stabilize and reduce distortion uses a patented feedback ODNF version 2.3 which does not adversely sound on sound characteristics. At the output of the Luxman L505uX set of selected bipolar transistors in a push-pull enable.

The volume control in the amplifier is made on the basis of another proprietary technology, LECUA, guaranteeing the accuracy of the signal with minimal noise and distortion. The amplifier has four line inputs and one output for the recording device, input for MM/MC-Phono RCA and one balanced input. There are also output from the preamplifier and the direct input of the amplifier, allowing to use the device in home theater systems, or for speakers on the circuit bi-amp.

To Luxman L505uX you can connect two pairs of speakers that can be played individually or simultaneously (observing the limits on their impedance). On the front panel of the device there are two large switch indicator power output with switchable backlight and a full set of controls, including tone controls in the low and high frequencies.
